On Tuesday we had our 20 week appointment with the big ultrasound done. Good news - everything looks good. Baby is healthy! But Baby was positioned really low - way down by my pelvic bone so they had a hard time getting images. No 3D images were taken. Back in my 11th week I had to have an ultrasound done and got some great 3D images then! So this time I was expecting to see Baby in 3D, but that just wasn't meant to be. The Doctor did call yesterday and said that they did want me to do another ultrasound at my 24 week appointment to check for cleft lip. Not to alarm anyone - they don't suspect a cleft lip - they just couldn't see it on the ultrasound.
The cutest thing from the appointment was when the Tech and myself poked and prodded my belly to try to get baby to re-position. That was fun to watch on the screen. Baby was so content that it wasn't bothered by us. Too cute and maybe a sign of a content baby to be! Huh?!
