I have been wanting to do this all year. Just across the Minnesota border Wisconsin has many pizza farms. These farms harvest all their own produce to make fresh, wood fired pizza. They are open only in the Summer months. On Friday despite the look of rain we headed 50 minutes northeast of Rochester to Nelson, WI to
The Stone Barn. It was a really cool atmosphere. And the pizza was awesome! The barn in the pics was renovated with a glass ceiling and cool outdoor eating space. There was also a pond and little antique shop on the farm too. We wish we had more time to try out the other farms in the area!
