Valentine's Day and the rest of the Month

I know I've been slacking in the blog posting. We are just going about our everyday routine for the last month and a half. And trying to stay healthy. January was the month with Will fighting a nasty cold. Because of his TEF a typical cold for many kids turns into a full month for Will. He fought a bad cough all month which kept him out of school and activities some days. Evie got the same cold but was only coughing for a day or two. There is a big difference on how they can tolerate colds. February started off healthy but Valentine's Day week we all came down with a nasty cold. The kids had low grade fevers with it and it only lasted a couple of days for them. But Mom and Dad are still fighting the bug.

So cute when they cuddle - especially when they are sick

Valentine's Day week was fun. Evie had a party for her music class. Will finished his ice skating lessons that week and had a party at school on Friday. Saturday morning the kids woke up to Vday balloons, donuts, candy and a few small gifts. We had a swimming birthday party in the afternoon for a friend and that night the kids had a heart-shaped pizza with the babysitter as we went out to the country club to enjoy a lobster/steak Valentine's day dinner.

Daddy spoiled his girls - These are Evie's pink roses. Mommy got a dozen red.

We hope to start feeling better and for warmer weather to come. March is a busy month for us with a few trips planned! One of those trips is an anesthesia conference in Hilton Head, SC!
