We had a fun Easter weekend. DH was on call for the holiday so we hosted. Saturday was a day of prep with baking of the ham, side dishes and carrot cake. Easter morning Will woke up bright and early to look for the Easter bunny. After patiently waiting for Evie to wake, we hunted Easter eggs and baskets. Then ate plenty of candy before church so we could be extra hyper during the service. DH was at the hospital during all of this so mommy tackled a very full church service by herself. Grandma and Grandpa along with Scott, Lindsey, Brynn and Asher came after church for Easter dinner. And in the afternoon Grandma and Grandpa hosted an egg hunt for the kids. The kids now have enough candy to last them a whole year (if Mom and Dad stay out of it)! ;)
