I came across an article on Yahoo! today that estimated what a homemaker or stay-at-home mom's salary would be. I found it quite interesting.
Tasks a stay-at-home typical does:
Private Chef, sure some days it's more like frozen pizza, $52,260/year
House Cleaner: $6,136/year
Childcare provider: $31,200/year
Driver, $4,168/year
Laundry Service: $936/year
Lawn Maintenance: (this one doesn't fit into my tasks thanks to the Hubby) -$1,560
Total for a year of all these services: $94,701 per year.

So that puts a dollar figure out there but there is so, so much more than you cannot even begin to put a price on. Count your blessings every single day (I did and still do...)Love to you all!
