What a fun weekend we had! It started by leaving in a blizzard Thursday afternoon after Daddy worked a long night shift. The roads were still snow covered for the first part of the trip at 1pm. But we made it to sunny South Dakota (never get to say that about South Dakota) at 7pm. The kids did amazing in the car! All day Friday DH and I went to the house for appointments. This was the first time Daddy had seen the house since mid-March. Papa Bill and Grandma Tami drove up Friday afternoon to help celebrate with us and to see the house.
Saturday morning we took Grandma Tami and Papa Bill along with the kids to see the house. Then we came home right after lunch to start preparing for Evie's 1st Birthday Party.
Her theme was a pink, ruffle ombre party. Just a small gathering came at 4 to celebrate with gifts and cake. After cake we transitioned the party to a Cinco De Mayo/Birthday Party for me since Saturday was my 31st bday.
It was a great weekend. Best shared with picture overload. :)
