A Spookacular Weekend!

We had a fun and busy Halloween weekend. It started off on Friday night when we went over to some friend's house for burgers & brats before a YMCA halloween carnival. The weather was beautiful so I tried to grab some shots of the kids in their halloween outfits before they are bundled up in layers for Halloween night. The event was packed and hard to navigate with two kids.

On Saturday afternoon we had another Halloween party with a smaller group of friends. They rented out a gym and brought in a bouncy house along with paint our own pumpkin, decorate cookies and treats and games for everyone. It was a great party and so much easier to control two kids than the night before in a maze of costumes and adults.

Today we attended church and then Will went back down to the farm and helped combine. I drove down and picked him up before supper. And then we carved pumpkins tonight. Will got more into this year. Although both kids didn't dare reach their hands into the gooey mess.

This week we are busy with more Halloween activities. Evie gets to dress up and bring treats to her music class on Thursday and Will brings treats and dresses up too for Preschool.

Will loves his costume! He has worn it everyday. He wore it (mask and all) to Target and Walmart this weekend. And has slept in it two nights now.
