So it is almost the start of a new weekend but I thought I should recap last weekend. It was cold and chilly! While the western side of South Dakota got over 40" of snow, we thankfully just got breezy, rainy conditions. It was the local university's homecoming and we did venture out for the parade at 9am. It actually wasn't raining and the temps weren't bad. We went with DH's work colleague and our friends, the Thorpes'. On Sunday the weather was sunny and warmer to attend a pumpkin patch. Will went with our neighbor boy and friend, Mitchell. They had lots of big trucks, firetrucks, police cars and dump trucks to sit in. Along with picking out a pumpkin and riding on a small train.

This week we have been enjoying the warmer temps and we hosted a bday dinner for Grandma.
