First Haircut and Other Things

Last week Evie had her first haircut. She did so well! She sat all by herself with the apron on and was just in awe of the hairstylist the whole time. After we were finished, she kept pointing to the hairdryer. She thought we weren't done til her hair was blow dried. My kind of girl :) We didn't take much off and kept her bangs long. Just evened it out and now her hair looks fuller and has a cute little wisp at the end.

On Friday night we left the kids at the farm and went to watch DH's cousin Beau play in his band in downtown Sioux Falls. We had so much fun! His band was great and we met up with some friends we haven't seen for quite awhile. We stayed overnight and did some shopping the next day. 

Then on Saturday we picked up the kids and headed for home. We live in the development where our country club is located. And it was their Pro-Am tournament. That night they hosted a derby and then a band played. We drove our golf cart around with a bunch of friends and had so much fun! It's going to become a yearly tradition of ours to do. There were so many carts watching the derby! (Look behind the green and you'll see them all lined up watching the putts).
