We enjoyed a nice Fourth of July vacation. We headed down to Mapleton for the holiday. But first we stopped in Sioux Falls for Will to have a yearly follow-up for his TEF and severe trachomalcia. He was a champ with his esophogram. And very happy to report things looked great with his esophagus! No need to come back til a year from now. We stayed overnight in Sioux Falls for the appointment and got to hang out with the Fritz family again along with friends that moved back from an Iowa City residency; Doug, Liz and little Caleb. So nice to reconnect with med school friends after so many years apart. We also took the kids to SkyZone for some indoor trampoline fun before we left.
We had a great time in Mapleton! The kids had lots of fun outside and in the baby pool. The weather was great the whole weekend. Fun to relax and reconnect with everyone!
