Merry Christmas

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We celebrated Christmas this year in MN. DH worked a 24-hour shift Christmas Eve and then again today. So we had a much more relaxed Christmas than usual. We missed our families, but get to extend Christmas out by having a two week vacation to see them!

We could tell that Will got into Santa more this year. First, Will slept in for his momma til 7:30! Daddy got off his shift at 7 am and had the egg bake already in the oven by the time he came into the bedroom to say Merry Christmas. Will was surprised by the presents under the tree. We had to go look in his stocking in the basement to see if Santa left anything in there too. Sure enough - it was plump full.

He took his time with every gift. He wanted to start playing with each one and didn't care to keep opening or looking in his stocking.

We opened the big surprise present that I wrote about here. And spent the rest of the day relaxing (and wrapping our heads around that we are having a girl!). The weather has been great so instead of a sleigh ride, we went for a wagon ride. Will enjoyed getting out and exploring the bike path again.
