Will and Evie really got into the parade! Evie would go grab one piece and bring it back to her bucket. Will half way thru the parade stopped going for the candy to eat most of it.

| After the parade |
After the parade we walked over a bridge to the Refield park. We ate pizza in the park and then enjoyed the free activities like the bouncy house, the train ride, kids tractor push, pedal, pull and snow cones. It got pretty hot so by 2pm the public pool in the park opened up with free swimming. The kids and parents cooled off and by 3:30 we were on our way home with two exhausted kids.
We didn't do any fireworks this year. Will went with Daddy to pick some out and kept asking to see the fireworks. But when it came time to light them he got scared. Even at snaps and bottle caps! We finally got him to do snaps but there was no way any sparklers were going to happen. There's always next year!

It was such a fun day! The kiddos were so excited for the parade and they did a great job gathering the candy. Evie running up and down the street still cracks me up! Just an all around great 4th!!
